Can I transfer my existing domains?

Yes, you can transfer your existing domains to iNet Robots. Please follow the instructions below:

1. Cancel the domains

It is very important to cancel the domains, because your existing provider will reject the transfer automatically if a domain has not been cancelled. If you have registered your domains with one of the big companies like 1und1, Strato or Domain Factory, you can (and have to) cancel the domains online. Smaller companies might provide a form or accept an informal notice via fax or by post. Make sure to choose "provider change" and in no case request the deletion of the domain!

2. Forward the Authcode

To transfer a .de, .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz or .name domain, a so called Authcode (or Auth-Info) is required. The Authcode works like a password that is set for the transfer and usually expires after 30 days. Depending on your provider, you can either request the Authcode online or have to contact the support. Please forward the Authcode via e-mail so we can start the transfer.

3. Confirm the FOA mail

When transferring a .eu, .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz or .name domain, an automatic FOA mail (Form of Authorization) will be sent to the e-mail address that is stored in the WHOIS database, so the domain owner or Admin-C can confirm the transfer. After 14 days, the confirmation link expires and the transfer is rejected automatically. Also note that there is a waiting period of 60 days after registration and each transfer, during which no further transfers are permitted.

If you have more questions regarding domain transfers, please contact our support.
