Creating integrated systems

Software interfaces allow you to combine two independent applications to an integrated system in which they are able to communicate and to share data. The interfaces mentioned below have been developed according to the exact customer's specifications and are not meant to be published due to the specific requirements and licensing terms. Contact us if you need a custom software interface, too.

HQS - xt:Commerce

Purpose: Interface between a merchandise information system and an online shop

Description: The purpose of the interface is to import over 40.000 products including their categories, prices and images from the merchandise information system HQS into an xt:Commerce online shop. The process has been fully automated using cron-jobs. Customer data and orders are exported automatically and can be processed in the merchandise information system.

webEdition - TYPOlight

Purpose: Interface between two content management systems

Description: The purpose of the interface is to import news items including their categories and images from the content management system webEdition into the content management system TYPOlight. During the import, it is possible to reassign the items without losing any meta data such as the date of creation. Since the interface was only used to migrate the news items, it is not fully automated.

XML - TYPOlight

Purpose: Data import from XML files into TYPOlight

Description: The purpose of the interface is to extract data from various XML files and to use it to create the site structure including all articles and content elements in TYPOlight. It also allows you to merge and reorganize files (e.g. article images). The import process is configured in a separate TYPOlight back end module and runs fully automated. Existing TYPOlight pages are not affected by the import.
